D-wave Quantum Inc.: D-wave Extends Agreement With Aramco Europe To Explore Quantum-powered Optimization Of Geophysical Problems

D-Wave and Aramco have extended their agreement to use quantum technologies to solve complex optimization problems in geophysical imaging. The Aramco Research Center in Delft has seen performance gains using D-Wave’s quantum computers and hybrid solvers, and plans to process a terabyte of seismic data with the D-Wave quantum computer in 2024.
