The first-ever “IOT Data Hackathon” organized by GS1 Hong Kong saw 8 teams from both student and professional categories showcasing innovative uses of IoT technologies to develop impactful solutions for real-world business challenges. The winning projects included a smart load-shifting charging system for electric vehicles, a smart plug for intelligent management of home appliances, and an all-in-one monitoring and predictive maintenance platform.
