Blue Wave AI Labs has successfully deployed machine learning tools at a power utility to lower operating costs and improve sensor accuracy in nuclear power plants. The project was supported by the US Department of Energy and leveraged high-performance computing systems. Blue Wave AI Labs signed a long-term agreement with the utility to supply its cloud-based Nuclear-AI Platform components. The AI tools were able to identify and improve out-of-calibration sensors, preventing costly shutdowns.
