The Things Conference in Amsterdam showcased a new energy-sucking low-light solution for passive (battery-less) LoRaWAN from France-based Dracula Technologies. This technology has the potential to triple returns on IoT investments by providing three times the battery-life and asset-life. Additionally, a new production facility with capacity for 150,000 commercial units per year is set to go live.
