Professor Michael Bronstein and Professor Alison Noble of the University of Oxford have been awarded UKRI Turing AI World Leading Fellowships to conduct research on artificial intelligence (AI) challenges. This £8 million investment is part of a larger £54 million investment by UKRI to develop trustworthy and secure AI. Professor Bronstein’s research focuses on theoretical and computational geometric methods for machine learning and data science, and he will use the Fellowship to develop a novel mathematical framework for geometric and graph machine learning.
