Identifying Bias In Ai Models For Medical Imaging

This article discusses the importance of addressing biases and ensuring fairness, equity, and trust in AI/ML for medical imaging. A team of experts from the Medical Imaging and Data Resource Center (MIDRC) identified nearly 29 sources of potential bias that could occur in medical imaging AI/ML and developed five critical steps to develop and implement medical imaging AI/ML.
