Dr Noel Carroll from the University of Galway provides an alternative view of the much-hyped advances in AI, and explains how low-code/no-code development can benefit from educated use of AI technologies. AI has the potential to transform the way we live, work and interact with the world around us, however it is important to bring a little balance to the hype and to highlight some of the limitations. AI is unable to replicate human intuition and creativity, and requires vast amounts of data to function effectively. Additionally, AI algorithms can be easily fooled by adversarial examples.
