Civil Servants Consider Using Ai Bots To Help Strike Post-brexit Trade Deals

Civil servants are considering using AI chatbots to assist with post-Brexit free trade deals. The Department of Business and Trade is exploring developing AI bots to identify topics and trends in FTA texts. Other proposals include using AI for meeting transcriptions and ministerial briefings. The government has appointed an AI adviser to develop an “AI Opportunities Action Plan” to boost productivity and save costs.
