Apple has announced a partnership with OpenAI to integrate their AI-powered chatbot, ChatGPT, into Siri and other first-party apps. This will allow Siri to provide expert advice and solutions, and will also be integrated into system-wide writing tools for content creation. The integration will be available on iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia, and will not require a separate account. Privacy protections have been emphasized in this partnership.
