Core42, a unit of Abu Dhabi’s artificial intelligence and cloud company, G42, has unveiled a bilingual Arabic and English chatbot called Jais Chat. The app is proficient in both languages and uses an Arabic-centric model for efficient processing of Arabic text. It is based on G42’s large language model for Arabic, Jais, and uses ‘Jais 30B’ which is trained on a data set of 126 billion Arabic tokens, 251 billion English tokens, and 50 billion code tokens. Jais Chat aims to democratize AI access and deliver unparalleled results in Arabic and English language processing.
