Apple is planning to use its own Apple Silicon chips in cloud-computing servers to power advanced AI tasks on its devices. The move is part of the company’s push into generative AI and it is expected to reveal its ambitious AI strategy at its Worldwide Developers Conference. Apple is also in talks with Google and OpenAI to integrate a chatbot into its devices.
