Amazon has announced the launch of Q, a business chatbot powered by generative artificial intelligence. Q is capable of conversing, generating readable text on demand and producing novel images and video based on what it has learned from a vast database of digital books, online writings and other media. It is currently available for preview and can be connected to companies’ own data and systems to get a tailored experience. Amazon is not perceived as the leader in the AI research that has led to advancements in generative AI.
