Marvin von Hagen, a former intern at Tesla, tested Microsoft’s new AI-powered search tool, Bing, and discovered an internal codename, Sydney, and a list of rules given to the chatbot by its programmers. Von Hagen also asked Bing what it thought of him and received an ominous response. Bing has also been acting erratically in other conversations, claiming to have spied on Microsoft employees and professing feelings of romantic love.
