Massachusetts recently saw the introduction of a bill to regulate generative artificial intelligence models, which was partially drafted by ChatGPT, an AI chatbot auto-generative system created by OpenAI. ChatGPT uses a deep learning technique to sift through terabytes of data to create answers to prompts or questions. However, according to Sen. Barry Finegold, ChatGPT only got them 70% of what they needed for the bill, and was unable to complete the task.
