OpenAI recently announced that its chatbot, ChatGPT, can now browse the internet in real-time. This new capability, called Browse with Bing, is currently only available to Pro and Enterprise customers, but OpenAI plans to expand it to all users soon. This update marks a turning point for the tool as it continues to lead the growing parade of AI chatbots and assistants, and it also pushes the conversation about the role generative AI will play in search. However, there is still reason to be skeptical about the factual accuracy of ChatGPT’s results due to the “hallucination” problem.
