Microsoft on Thursday showcased the capabilities of its Microsoft 365 Copilot chatbot, which is based on the OpenAI-developed GPT-4 large language model (LLM). The AI technology is being tested by 20 customers, eight of which are Fortune 500 companies, in order to collect input and improve the product. Microsoft has linked the GPT-4 and ChatGPT technology with Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power Platform, Viva, and other programs so that users may combine data to generate various outputs.
