Baidu Claims It’s Reinvented Computing For Ernie Chatbot

Baidu has launched ERNIEbot, a chatbot based on a large language model, that represents a new computing paradigm. This new paradigm relies on a CPU and/or GPU, a deep learning framework, and a “Big Model” that powers ERNIE. This arrangement is expected to bring the advent of “models-as-a-service”, which will transform the world of work for knowledge workers.
