The article discusses the challenges faced by current digital twin networks (DTNs) and proposes a solution in the form of a large language model (LLM) empowered DTNs framework, LLM-Twin. This framework utilizes digital twin semantic networks (DTSNs) for more efficient communication and computation, a mini-giant model collaboration scheme for handling multimodal data, and a native security policy for maintaining efficiency. Numerical experiments and case studies demonstrate the feasibility of LLM-Twin, making it a promising solution for next-generation communications and internet of everything (IoE) technologies.
