Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) could benefit from Microsoft’s proposed investment in Malaysia, as demand for data transmission and data centres will increase. TM’s established network of digital infrastructure and existing data centres put them in a good position to capitalize on this opportunity. Kenanga Research estimates that TM could generate a return on investment of 12.6% with a potential new hyperscale data centre.
