Digital Realty has announced the construction of its third data centre at its NRT campus in Japan, which will significantly increase availability of AI-ready infrastructure. The facility, expected to open in December 2025, will offer standardised and bespoke configurations to meet the high-density power requirements of complex AI workloads. It will also use 100% renewable energy and feature an innovative air-assisted liquid cooling design.
