AWS and UNESCO have launched a Computer for Climate Fellowship to fund startups working on clean energy, low-carbon transportation, carbon removal, and sustainable agriculture and food. The program provides credits for startups to use AWS technology and expertise in quantum computing, high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to create proof of concepts. One of the chosen startups, Realta Fusion, is using the program to develop a first-of-a-kind plasma stability simulation for fusion power plants.
