Xiongan New Area, also known as China’s “Future City”, is a high-tech city located in northern China’s Hebei Province. The city was designed from the beginning to be an intelligent city featuring high-tech innovation, and the project is part of the city’s blueprint. The Xiongan City Computing Center, with a total investment of 1.099 billion yuan ($156 million), will be equipped with supercomputing and cloud computing facilities for big data, blockchain, Internet of Things, AI and VR. The center will be the center responsible for the city’s four platforms: integrated data platform, video surveillance platform, intelligent transportation platform and smart city platform.
