In 2023, marketing technology (MarTech) is being used by organisations to better co-ordinate and assess their efforts across all channels and touch points with their customers. Technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Extended Reality (XR), Web 3, the Metaverse, Big Data and Analytics are being used in marketing. Social commerce and omnichannel marketing are the most effective forms of advertising and promotion, while voice-assisted marketing, low- and no-code platforms and open, intent-based marketing strategies are also being used. Additionally, the proliferation of zero-knowledge databases and the increased use of conversational AI-like chatbots are two of the biggest developments in digital marketing in 2023.
