The Asia Pacific region is experiencing explosive growth in its digital economy due to the presence of numerous ‘unicorn’ startup companies and a young population. The region is ripe for digital transformation and the global pandemic has only accelerated this process further. Despite this, the telecom market in the region is developing unevenly, with 4G penetration rates ranging from 40% to 100% and 4G DOU ranging from 5GB to 40GB. As a result, neither the demographic nor the traffic dividend has been fully utilized and consumer communication needs are yet to reach their full potential.
