Interview With Refik Anadol On His Multisensory Generative Installation ‘glacier Dreams’

Refik Anadol’s Glacier Dreams is an AI data painting installation which was unveiled at Art Dubai 2023 as part of the NEXT initiative by Swiss Private Bank Julius Baer. The project is a three-dimensional space where sound, light, and scent come together to create a hypnotic generative display and investigate both the geological and aesthetic formations of Iceland’s volcanic glaciers. Glacier Dreams raises awareness about the dangers of rising sea levels and calls for the preservation of nature’s sculptures.
