Waymo Has Doubled Its Weekly Paid Robotaxi Trips To 100,000 Since May

Waymo, a self-driving project at Alphabet, is expanding its service beyond the Sun Belt states and doubling its weekly paid trips. With its new “generation 6” system, Waymo aims to offer driverless services in a wider array of weather conditions. The company also announced a $5 billion investment and partnerships with Uber and Geely Zeekr.
