Waabi, a Toronto-based autonomous trucking company, has raised $200 million in Series B funding to launch fully driverless trucks and accelerate growth in 2025. The company, led by CEO Raquel Urtasun, is focused on using generative AI to build an autonomous vehicle fleet that can reason like a human. Urtasun, who has been developing AI systems for over a decade, previously served as the chief scientist at Uber Advanced Technology Group.
