Elon Musk’s $44.9 billion pay package is up for a vote at Tesla’s annual shareholders’ meeting. If approved, Musk will remain at the company and focus on AI and robotics, including autonomous vehicles. However, if rejected, Musk has threatened to take his AI research to another company. Some institutional investors have come out against the package, but individual shareholders are likely to vote for it.
