Overland AI, a Seattle startup, has received a $10 million seed round to develop its autonomous driving technology for off-road vehicles. The company aims to use its technology to eliminate risk to humans in high-risk situations, such as military operations. Overland AI has also secured contracts with the U.S. Army and Defense Innovation Unit, as well as partnerships with the U.S. Marine Corps and DARPA. The company’s technology uses advanced machine learning to navigate complex terrain without relying on GPS.
