Overland AI, a Washington-based mobility developer, has received $10 million in seed funding to advance its autonomous driving software for defense applications. The company’s solution, called OverDrive, enables navigation of a vehicle system without human intervention across off-road terrains at high speeds. Overland AI is also participating in DARPA’s RACER program and has signed a contract with the US Army for their Ground Vehicle Autonomous Pathways program. The company’s goal is to create high-performance ground autonomy software for uncrewed vehicles in any terrain.
