Kyle Vogt, former founder and CEO of self-driving car company Cruise, has launched a new VC-backed robotics startup focused on household chores. The startup, called the Bot Company, has raised $150 million and is led by Vogt and former Tesla and Cruise employees. Vogt’s return to the industry comes after his resignation from Cruise following a pedestrian accident involving one of their vehicles.
