Beijing South Railway Station has been approved to operate an autonomous taxi test service, making it the first high-speed railway station in Beijing to do so. The city is expanding the scope of demonstration zones for high-level autonomous driving and promoting the launch of self-driving services in key transportation hubs. The self-driving taxi market in China is expected to reach 1.3 trillion yuan by 2030.
