A group of students at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar have successfully developed a fully automatic and functional driverless vehicle as part of their course on Autonomous Vehicles. The vehicle is equipped with sensors and algorithms for tasks such as lane and obstacle detection, steering control, and braking and acceleration. The students have also incorporated safety measures for testing the vehicle on the campus roads.
