Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has issued a grave warning about the potential dangers of artificial intelligence (AI) to humans. The warning comes ahead of the world’s first AI Safety Summit in Buckinghamshire next week, where many of the world’s top scientists will be discussing the potential for AI to be used to kill humans. Five potential ways AI could be used to eliminate humans are discussed, including the development of novel bioweapons, autonomous cars, and killer robots. Companies such as Tesla are working on humanoid bots, but experts warn that trouble could lie ahead if they go rogue.
