Austin Blake has created a self-driving go-kart, the Teskart, which uses a machine learning technique known as behavioral cloning to replicate human behavior. The Teskart is equipped with three Logitech C920 webcams, a salvaged power wheelchair motor, and a potentiometer for position feedback. An onboard laptop is used for recording data, training the model, and evaluating its performance. An Arduino and a Cytron DC motor driver control the steering motor, while a pair of Arduino Nano boards receive the predicted steering angle data from Python.
