The 19th Asian Games host cities have implemented state-of-the-art communication technologies such as 5G-Advanced network and passive IoT infrastructure to ensure a smart Asian Games. 5G-Advanced network is up to 10 times faster than standard 5G networks and has been deployed in intelligent connected vehicles, smart venue operations, and other Games scenarios. Passive IoT is being used to monitor environmental temperatures and humidity in real time, track logistics vehicles and warehouse management, and monitor valuable assets. Autonomous driving technology has been applied to driverless buses and a 5G network has been set up to ensure tens of thousands of people can surf the internet without network lag.
