Xona Space Systems is developing a new GNSS constellation called Pulsar, which will provide all the services of legacy GNSS, plus additional benefits such as commercial-grade encryption for autonomous applications. The constellation will consist of 300 satellites in 20 orbital planes, with a combination of polar and inclined orbits. The company is currently in the process of obtaining regulatory approvals and is working on funding for the launch of the first satellite.
