Cyngn Inc. has announced that they have made significant progress adapting their AI-powered autonomous driving solution, DriveMod, to enable autonomous forklifts. This development effort is part of an ongoing paid contract with a separate end-user in the building materials industry, and has yielded AI-powered autonomous vehicle capabilities on an electric BYD forklift. The autonomous forklift features flexible pallet detection, unparalleled safety, and an industry-leading load capacity of 10,000 lbs. Cyngn is targeting 2024 for the commercial launch of its autonomous forklift.
