The joint venture will develop Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD) systems for the Chinese market. The company’s founder, Dr. Yu Kai, is a prominent figure in the field of machine learning and a promoter of the application of deep-learning in China in the civil and commercial sectors. The goal of the company is to empower people, not to increase the power of machines.
