This article discusses the three major operating systems used in the automotive industry: Blackberry’s QNX, Intel & Linux Foundation, and Google’s Android Open Source Project. It further examines how these providers are working to expand their ecosystems with OEMs in order to improve their products. Additionally, it looks at how Alibaba’s AliOS and Huawei’s HarmonyOS are working to upgrade underlying operating systems ecologically and create cooperative relationships with hardware suppliers.
