Surglasses/Caduceus S from Taiwan Main Orthopaedic Biotechnology Co., Ltd. has achieved a major breakthrough in the field of spinal surgery with the completion of the first augmented reality (AR) surgery in the US using its Caduceus S AR Spine Navigation System. This system utilizes advanced 2D C-arm imaging technology to create a precise map of the patient’s spine and overlay information to provide greater accuracy and detail. The surgery was a success and the patient is expected to make a full recovery.
