Nreal has become the top-selling AR glasses globally, according to a new IDC report. IDC has estimated that Nreal shipped 100,000 of its glasses in 2022, making it the sixth largest manufacturer in the entire VR/AR space. Nreal has several smart glasses products on the market, including the Nreal Air, which is designed to provide visuals with the equivalent of a 130-inch display, 4m away from the user’s face. The global headset market (unsurprisingly dominated by Meta) declined 20% to 8.8 million shipments in 2022.
