The PGA Tour has launched an Augmented Reality (AR) platform on holes 16, 17, and 18 of the PLAYERS Championship, allowing Apple iPhone users to view virtual flight paths of shots on the hole. The AR efforts have been built on Quintar’s platform. Jeff Jonas, Quintar co-founder, spoke about the deployment this year and the future of AR and Quintar.
