Qatar is a pioneer in the use of technology and artificial intelligence, and is committed to promoting research and innovation in AI and other emerging technologies to meet the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030. The Ministry of Labour has taken the lead in digital transformation, cloud technology, and AI, and is the first in the Middle East to use A100 GPUs. The Ministry of Labour has initiated a cloud transition journey on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform to revitalise the management of the labour sector and improve customer satisfaction. The ministry is also committed to creating innovative solutions using agile software development, cloud-native services, and AI to deliver a smooth user experience. The ministry has started to incorporate AI into its 2024 initiatives, which will involve rapid computing, large-scale data handling, and AI-augmented production and machine learning tasks.
