Focus On Quality Learning, Fund Allocation Have Transformed Gujarat’s Education Sector: Officials

The Gujarat government has implemented several initiatives such as the Vidya Samiksha Kendra, Mission Schools of Excellence and scholarship schemes to transform the state’s education sector. These initiatives have been allocated Rs 43,651 crore, including Rs 3,109 crore for the Mission Schools of Excellence and Rs 64 crore for 400 Gyan Setu Day Schools. The Vidya Samiksha Kendra uses big data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve outcomes from online attendance to advanced assessments. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of having an online and real-time monitoring system has been realised by the Gujarat government.
