Autonomous Trucks Cutting A Path In Forestry Sector

Robotics Research (RR.AI) is using its AutoDrive self-driving platform to automate commercial trucking in the rugged Canadian wilderness. RR.AI’s Gabe Sganga explains that the company is focusing on off-road applications, as this is a less daunting regulatory challenge than middle-mile applications. RR.AI is working with Quebec-based research body FPInnovations to develop autonomous forestry trucks for Resolute Forest Products.
