This article discusses the findings of a two-day workshop on Soft Law Governance of AI Applications, which was hosted by the Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. The workshop was chaired by Professor Gary Marchant and Eric Hitchcock, and featured nine research papers presented by esteemed speakers and carefully chosen commentators. The papers were categorized into three overarching classifications: Automated Decision-Making, AI Governance, and AI Ethics.
