Google Cloud announced an updated version of its Chronicle Security Operations platform, which unifies security information and event management and security orchestration, automation and response, and adds an Applied Threat Intelligence tool. The update includes a chatbot Duet AI and a new attack surface management service from Mandiant. The platform helps security operations teams parse the massive amounts of data they receive, automatically groups alerts into cases, and provides advanced capabilities around threat intelligence.
