Amazon Web Services (AWS) is betting on cloud adoption by the public sector in India to increase growth momentum in the region. Government initiatives to build digital platforms for public service present an opportunity for AWS. AWS is involved in initiatives such as the Co-WIN platform for universal immunisation and the Poshan Tracker application for real-time monitoring of all Anganwadi Centers. AWS is also working with State governments in India to migrate applications and gain cost-efficiency.
