The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) is providing promising advancements in the health care sector. Rema Padman, Trustees Professor of Management Science and Healthcare Informatics at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy, recently discussed the opportunities and challenges of AI in health care. One key application of AI in health care is the development of digital solutions that enhance health literacy. Digital therapeutics is one such solution, which involves using software and evidence-based insights to build digital solutions that aim to bring about behavior change.
